A lovely apartment. Cosy and comfy.
Great shower and comfy bed, perfect after a day out enjoying the area. Paula was a great host. The apartment is well placed to walk round Derwentwater, walk in to Keswick, Up Catbells and Latrigg. Bus stop just outside if you want to go further afield. Lovely pub just down the road.
We really enjoyed our short stay here.
The apartment was spotless, beautifully decorated and matched the description. The host was more than helpful and quickly responded to messages. Our favourite thing was it felt like a home from home - a luxury one! Thank you so much, we will definitely stay here again.
We enjoyed a lovely few days at this pristine and well appointed apartment in Portinscale. Everything was very convenient for a stay in the Lakes, with Keswick and Derwent Water very nearby. The location was quite with parking right outside the apartment.
We didn't need to use our car at all with everything we wanted within walking distance. Very relaxing. The bed was really comfortable, as was the whole apartment, with everything thought of and lots of nice finishing touches. The host Paula was very welcoming and responsive. We would stay again:-)
We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay in Portinscale! The apartment was perfect and Paula has thought of everything to ensure your stay is a s homely and comfortable as possible,. Really good quality furniture, kitchenware, bedding etc. The location is perfect, just a 20 minute walk from Keswick and there's a very helpful information pack in the apartment with recommendations of hikes/things to do and places to eat! We will definitely be looking to stay here again :)

The apartment was perfect for us; situated in a quiet village, everything was new, clean and bright and having parking just outside made it very easy to unload our bags. The kitchen is very well equipped, the lounge area comfortable, the bedroom and en-sutie are immaculate. We enjoyed canoeing at the nearby marina and loved touring around the pretty countryside. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, thank you!
A lovely apartment with great amenities and a touch of luxury . Loved the quality shower, bed and great kitchen facilities coffee machine etc .Beautiful area and the apartment location is perfect for walks into Keswick and surrounding area , didn’t need to use the car if we didn’t want to which was a bonus and plenty of choice for eating places within walking distance. This beautiful apartment is in prime location in the heart of Portinscale. If you are a walker, cyclist, water sport lover, or simply want to relax in the tranquility of the Lake District, then this is the place for you! With immediate access to the north shores of Derwent, (the pretty side) you can explore and enjoy the many walking and cycling trails, the marina and water sports. Discover a charming array of eateries and dine in the Farmers Arms, Lingholm Kitchen or The Chalet tea room and restaurant.We are dog lovers and well behaved dogs are very welcome.
A beautifully presented, one bedroom apartment. Open plan kitchen, living and dining room. Bedroom with en- suite shower room. Next to the apartment, there are two secure rooms. One for muddy boots and coats and the other for bikes/canoes. You will have a key for both of these so you can lock up and know your property is secure.The kitchen is fully equipped and towels are provided.There is a private parking space just outside the apartment and room for Al fresco dining if desired.
